Bangladesh is a land of
rivers and canals. Hundred of rivers criss crossed over

also.
The North Bengal has got Electricity, Gas line, Telephone line through this bridge
. It has Train line too. The eastern part of this bridge is situated on
Islampur and the western part on Jamtaly. The communication and transport system
has been
developed highly for this bridge .So this bridge is a land mark in the history of
Bangladesh. So the government should take proper steps to take every
possible
care of this Bangabandhu
