a great historical background. The history has been created by some noble
personalities for whom Tangail has got the blessings of Almighty
Allah. Among those personalities Sir

Nawab Ali Chawdhury,
Justice Abu Sayeed,
Justice Mahim Chandra Ghosh,
Principal Ibrahim Khan, Dr. M. N.

Shamsul Haque were well known to all.
Srimati Janwaby, Sheik
Fazilatunnesa, Nibedita Mondal were the women
faces. P.C.Sarkar, a greatest magician took birth in this district. R.P.
Shaha and Anupam Ghatak were famous musician. Bangabir
Kader Siddique is the real hero of Tangail. He had made
a strong protection against Pakistani Army to save Tangail in 1971. These
