Geographical Tangail

| The geology description of Tangail differs upon several factors. These factors are climate, weather, soil, way of the rivers etc. The geologists divided the soil of Tangail into two parts. One is reddish highland of Madhupur and the another is alluvial plain land of Jamuna. The first one is also divided into two groups. They're- the Janshahi -Gar of the north, Kagmary-Gar of the south. A deep forest is constituted there. Sal, Gazer, Keora are the main trees of that forest. The second one is a vast alluvial land. Thus the Dhaleshwary, the Jamuna, the Lauhajanga etc. are the main rivers of this land. Tangail town is situated on the second part. These are briefly about the geography of Tangail | ||
