Tangail is situated just in the
middle of Bangladesh. Two biggest rivers named the Ganga and the Jamuna
over flowed the northern side of Tangail. These rivers give Tangail a
delta shape. The fertility of the land is very much higher. The Dhaleshwary
flows over the southern part of Tangail. The Lauhajanga is the main river of
Tangail which solves the water problem of our locality It provides us with
sufficient water supply. There are many streams which born from above
stated rivers. Those are Nikla, Moladas, Charan, Barta etc. From these
rivers and streams the people of Tangail get sufficient supply of fishes.
Kai, Katla, Mrigel, Gazzer are main fishes of these rivers. These also
solves the protein problem of our country. But now a days the industrialization
of Tangail polities these rivers in many ways. So the government should
take proper steps to solve these problem ........
