12th.It's past name was Tangail Bonick Shamiti . This Boniti Shamiti
starts it's journey in 1960.Signfing that, continuously 35 years, still
today there is no industry jet build up Tangail is now considering as a
place of great possibility of investment and to established industry
after heaving near to the capital, Tele-Communication, Gas, electricity
etc. For the industrialism, In 1986, taking about 23.50
Acres land a industry
park 4 K.M. distance in park ,300 units
of plant is sanctioned out of 218 plant, At present, 20 unit is in vogue.
In this mills and industry, it has also engineering ,Shoe-mill, cold storage,
Rubber ,Plastic and Food processing plant etc.
In 1993 - 2000 ,few textile mill, cotton mill, shop, wheat mill ,
have been built up. Otherwise it was tried to build up some few textile
mills after the day of Independent those are now continued by own salves
of it.
